Common name: Daylily
The most popular daylily. Produces 2.75″ bright gold flowers with subtle fragrance. Begins blooming in early summer followed by waves of reblooming into early fall. Reblooms best if plants are deadheaded.
Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot (including slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees). Plant in full sun. Attract butterflies, hummingbirds and bees.
